What is drone as first responder?
Drone as first responder, or DFR, puts a drone in the air as soon as a call comes in. The drone reaches the scene quickly and streams live video, and with two-way audio it can communicate with people on scene, all before crews arrive. Agencies use it to decide what resources a call really needs, to approach unknown situations with better information, and to help keep responders safe.
